Band Members

Robyn (aka Byrdy)

Robyn is the lead singer and keyboardist for Byrdy. She is also one of the primary songwriters for the band and has been compared to the likes of Amy Lee from Evanescence. Although being classically trained on piano, Robyn has veered away from the more traditional classical sound with her piano to differentiate from other metal bands and prefers the music she writes to contain a more haunting sound.

She has been in bands and has been performing across the GTA for over 15 years.

"What I like about Byrdy the most are the members. They are grounded, great at their craft and a lot of fun to be around. It's nice to be in a group with all like-minded individuals with a common goal."

Backup singer for Byrdy.

Kara also didn't send in her own bio so she is a mystery. Kara is a very talented vocalist and manages to come up with some of the most amazing harmonies which are definitely not an easy task given the complexity of the music that Byrdy writes. She is fun, quirky and the youngest member of the band. She has her licence so she can drive the tour bus one day.

Sean Andrew

"I have always been a drummer, started playing at the age of 3. I have always leaned towards heavy music, although I have a very diverse influence list such as Peart, Bonzo, Vinny Paul and Stuart Copeland"

Sean has been playing in bands since the age of 15, and was also a member of a band with Robyn before forming Byrdy.

"Byrdy is by far the best band I've played in, happy to be here"

Rhythm guitarist for Byrdy.

Al didn't send in his own bio so it's a mystery really. He grew up somewhere, and somewhere learned how to play the guitar. He's got a great sense of humour and makes everyone laugh, usually at his own expense. But he takes it all in stride and continues to want to be in the band writing, performing and recording music. His favourite song is Barracuda.

Chris Bradley

Chris is the bassist for Byrdy and grew up in Bowmanville, Ontario and started playing guitar at the age of 16. He is into hard rock, metal, blues, progressive rock and everything in between. His influences are mostly Therapy?, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Alice in Chains, Joe Satriani, Rammstein, Tea Party, Tool, White Stripes and many more. He is also the oldest member of the doesn't look it though.
